How to update the firmware of a TP-Link smart device

The firmware on a TP-Link smart devices can only be updated by using the product’s smart app.  For Kasa products this would be the Kasa app and for Tapo product it would be the Tapo App.  You may update the firmware by referring to the following instruction.
