    Reporting to the Marketing Director, we’re looking for someone to join our trailblazing team and bring talent, expertise and innovation to our PR and Social Media activity.

    Equally at home developing and implementing comprehensive PR and Social Media strategies we need someone with an understanding of modern PR, organic social, content and influencer marketing.

    You will be responsible for managing our PR activity across our B2C (Tapo and Deco) and B2B (Omada and Aginet) brands, as well as overseeing the relationship with our PR Agency.

    You will also take the lead in crafting and executing effective social media activity, developing new approaches that help us drive reach and engage both our B2B and B2C audiences.

    Collaboration with the broader marketing team and business is vital. An affinity for technology and the importance of clear and consistent benefit-led communication will also be key.

    You will need to be both strategic and tactical, able to brief agencies on quarterly plans, as well as offer agency support, when required, on product enquiries and business stories.

    You will have an instinct for storytelling, be a natural writer, perhaps even have a knack for strong captions, and an eye for design.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the planning and execution of PR and Social Media activity to drive brand awareness and strengthen our market position. Collaborate with various marketing functions to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.

    • Agency Management: Work closely with our PR agency to achieve our objectives, overseeing the press office, ensuring timely and effective responses to media inquiries and support crisis communications when necessary.

    • Measure and Analysis: Report on the effectiveness of external communications, integrating insights into marketing reports.

    • Social Strategy: Lead the development and execution of a cohesive social media strategy aligned with the company’s brand vision, values, and business goals across key platforms

    • Social Content Planning: Manage an organised social calendar, collaborating closely with the marketing team to plan the schedule.

    • Content Creation: Manage content development by working with our internal designers to help create, write and edit all content.

    • Channel Management: Manage all social media channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging and engaging content relevant to our audiences. Social channels include Linked In, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok and YouTube.

    • Manage all Influencer marketing plans, including identification, verification, briefing, relationship management, content production, dissemination and amplification.

    • Paid Social Coordination: work closely with the paid social team/agency to create content optimised for paid ads. Ensure alignment between organic and paid content strategies.

    • Reporting: Regularly report on our social media performance analytics and KPIs including related owned channel data, to improve campaign efficacy, offering insights on successes and key learnings to the wider teams.

    • Trends: Keep up to date with PR, content and social media trends and drive best practice execution into our plans.

    Key Requirements:

    • 3+ years experience in PR and social media, either agency or client-side

    • Experience building brands and communicating product stories through PR and social media.

    • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective PR activity and Social Media campaigns.

    • Experience managing agency relationships and building relationships with media and influencers.

    • Strong written communication skills - a flare for good content creation and an eye for detail and design.

    • Familiarity with social media channels and content management platforms and creation of impactful campaigns for diverse audiences.

    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

    • Expertise in monitoring and reporting on campaign performance (methodologies and technology).

    Desired Competencies / Professional Attributes:

    • University qualification or relevant marketing qualification in journalism, PR, social media or marketing desirable although not essential.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Full UK driving license, with flexibility to visit customers nationwide. This may involve occasional overnight stays, depending on customer locations.
    • Strong customer-facing skills, with experience in conducting training sessions, delivering presentations, and professional business planning.
    • 5+ years of IT sales experience, with a solid track record of working with or selling to Retail based organisations via System Integrators and Managed Service Providers, a deep understanding of this sector is highly desirable.
    • Highly motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing time effectively. Project management experience is a plus.
    • Market research and analysis skills, with the ability to provide detailed customer reports, competitive analysis, and market insights.
    • A team player, capable of collaborating with various departments across TP-LINK and working effectively under tight deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience in developing strong customer relationships across all levels of customer organization, including decision-makers at C-Level, Directors, Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams.
