How to connect to Wi-Fi of the customized Modem/Router via WPS

WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) can help you quickly and securely connect to a network with a tap. This article will guide you in quickly adding a new wireless device to your network via WPS.
Here, we take VX230v as an example.
Method 1: Using the WPS button
There are three ways to activate the WPS button.
1. Press the physical WPS button for about 2s on the modem/router.
*Note: When the WPS button is activated, the WPS light will be flashing. If the WPS is not flashing, please hit the button again. Some models may require a double press to initiate the WPS process.
2. Push the WPS button on the Aginet App.
*Note: Please ensure your modem/router supports the Aginet App. Please check the compatibility list here.
3. Push the WPS button on the web-based management page.
1). Login to the web-based management page by referring to: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1730/
2). Go to Advanced > Wireless > WPS > WPS Settings > Push Button.
Click Connect on the screen. Within two minutes, press the WPS button on the client device.
*Note: When the WPS button is activated, the WPS light will be flashing. If the WPS light is not flashing, please hit the button again.
Method 2: Using PIN (Personal Identification Number)
1). Log into the web-based management page by referring to https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1730/
2). Navigate to Advanced > Wireless > WPS > WPS Settings > PIN Number. You have the option to enter the router's PIN into the new device or input the device's PIN on this page.
a. Verify the router's PIN and enter it in the settings of the new wireless device.
b. Input the client's PIN and tap Connect on the interface.
